Arrival Support


Students are provided with a list of tutors. Pick-up at the station and assistance in getting to accommodation is arranged. At the welcome meeting, information for 'First Steps' is offered, and day-to-day problems are addressed.

Services and Support for International Students

The International Office at the University of Würzburg will arrange all aspects of enrolment. The local co-ordinator will assist the students with whatever questions and problems may arise.

Internships


Between second and third semester internships may be arranged at partners and in the European space industry.

SpaceMaster students are accommodated in residences run by the Studentenwerk. A link to their website is provided below under external links.

Financial considerations at Würzburg


The semester ticket and student service contribution is approximately 100 € (it may vary from year to year) and allows for:

  • free public transportation in the area
  • reduced prices for meals at the mensa
  • library
  • access to computer center and IT services at the university

Costs of Living


Approx. EUR 700.- based on the following calculation:
Food: EUR 200.-
Rent and utility charges: EUR 330.-
Health insurance: EUR 70.-
Miscellaneous: EUR 110.-

SpaceMaster is a very challenging programme. There will be not time for an extra job.
